Beware the Night
If I run and they get me, and the sun
Goes down as twilight nears,
Don't run away from me, but put a stake to my heart.
Don't fall for my voice, as it will lead you to my
Eternal coffin of bliss.
Don't breathe as you hear the moonlight creek,
Hold your hands upon your lips.
As you hear the creaking of wood, run to your houses,
Without a peek.

And if I come in a foreboding night and ask to stay,
Don't open your doors, no matter what I say.
As dawn's come anew, gather the villagers,
Come to my castle to end my lifeless sleep.

But be fearful if night approaches and you hear my coffin's screams,
Run and run, no matter what you hear and see.
