Our love is like a movie
Molded by life's ups and downs yet we love each other truly
ofcourse our story can't be framed in an hour or two
That's an art no one can fully do.
Yet the little glimpses of love can still be seen
it's a two hour trip that takes u to a place you've never been.
A world of complex emotions and harsh realities.
Many breaks and heart casualties
Yet I wouldn't want it written any other way
Because in the end you always stay
It's our story.
Not glamorized or put in a pure light of glory
We've hurt each other and left printed bruises
Sharp words have many uses
But together we grew maturity
And made a promise to think in all clarity
Not to attack each other with words
But give the problem our sharpened swords
For love isn't truly as shown in the movies
Or written stories
it's true essence can never truly be captured
True love isn't romance
It's choosing them everyday choosing to have life's dance
Even tho the butterflies aren't fluttering
You choose them everytime without stuttering
so yes our love is like a movie.
But one that faces reality.
