The Way I Took...
I see infront me
lies two ways
one, oftentimes travelled
another, seldomly walked.
I reached my past,
I browsed my maps,
the compass on my mind says
the less travelled way.
As I took this,
I saw my companion taking
different lanes,
with no company
I travel lone.
Sometimes I freak out
in nights when the cricket creeps
in days, when the summer heats.
I stood there in dilemma
but when I see my map
I hold too firm in my heart
when I see my future
resting in my mind
I always know
the path I took is worth traveling
it's tough, it's difficult, it's different
but aftermath of the way I took
will rejoice my soul higher in sky.
