Don't you think it's crazy, to love someone who's really hurt you
And maybe even crazier to think that someone who hurts you really does love you
No love should cause you so much pain
Instead love should help ease the strain
The pain which makes you so frail should help to pull back that veil
So you can see that people who love themselves would never hurt another
The more they hate themselves, the more they want others to suffer
And when it comes to being in love it always lead to one conclusion
Love really often hurts
Even when the love is strong, love hurts more as love goes on
Although I hate to burst your bubble
But it causes all sort of trouble
Because the greater the pain associated with love,
The more likelihood is the attraction to whomever inflict this pain,
It's always the same, waking up in the rain
There's an obvious attraction to the path of least resistance
Because that's what love's about, sometimes wasted and other times worn out
Yet sometimes the nicest of people are the ones who've been hurt the most
Inside their souls has been the most miserable
That's something so invisible
But don't expect a reason, because hurt people tend to hurt other people
And when it's all said and done, all hurt is hammered into one
So having bitterness and resentment only hurt one person,
But one thing is for certain, you're resenting only yoursel and not the other person
So why not say you're sorry when you hurt somebody
Did you know, that no-one has ever killed themselves over a broken arm
But every day, thousands of people kill themselves because of a broken heart!!
