The kindness of friends or strangers,
Returned by treating them with respect,
With useful outcomes and positive changes,
Your actions, my reaction, in ways we expect,

A ripple effect that travels far and wide,
A force that cannot be measured or weighed,
It's the simple act of being on each other's side,
That strengthens bonds and provides aid.

Kindness doesn't cost a thing, they say,
It's free for all to give and receive,
Yet it's the most valuable currency every day,
That helps us flourish and believe.

Sometimes a kind word can change a life,
A smile can brighten someone's day,
And a small gesture can end a strife,
When we lend a helping hand along the way.

We all have the power to make a difference,
In the lives of those around us every day,
By showing kindness and empathy in our presence,
And spreading love and joy in every way.

So let's make it our mission to be kind,
To each other and ourselves every single day,
And watch as the world begins to unwind,
Into a place where kindness always finds a way.

For in the end, it's not what we achieve,
Or what we amass or what we possess,
It's the kindness we give and receive,
