i could still remember
the first time i saw you.
i felt a sudden
gust of emotions,
like my heart ablaze
and felt like the world
has stopped moving.
i fell in love with
a stranger.
unexpectedly.
puppy love,
as they call it.
but...
was it?
in a panoramic view,
the constant erratic beating
of this wild heart,
the unfathomable feelings,
and the undying hopes
that maybe one day,
you'll look at me
with eyes that spark
and speak of love,
it was, perhaps,
a young love.
an unrequited love.
years have passed
yet, it's still you and i.
the phantasms i created
inside my mind,
the desires that
for once,
just this once,
you'll heed how i
agog over your attention.
but i was wrong.
love has taken
too much time.
and yet
in the end,
it's still just me.
just me.
