Living In Dreams
I am living in the dream,
Where you are still with me,
I am buried alive,
Under bittersweet memories.

King-size empty bed,
Echoes of laughter, now fled,
Sheets tangled, cold, and bare,
Missing your warmth, your touch, your care.

Silent nights, filled with tears,
Haunted by dreams of bygone years,
A heart torn in two,
Longing for the love we once knew.

Photographs fade, edges fray,
But your ghost lingers, day by day,
Each smile, each kiss, a phantom pain,
Missing you, in this lonely cold rain.

Aching for your hand in mine,
As the world continues to lose its shine,
Living in shadows, a life untrue,
Aching for the love that was you.

Cruel fate pulled us apart,
But you remain in my wounded heart,
Empty embraces, a hollow shell,
Missing you is my living hell.

That's why I always dwell in the past,
Holding onto memories that forever last,
Each moment with you, a treasure so rare,
Missing you, a burden I would forever bear.

In these dreams, we'll never be apart,
Forever etched in my wounded heart,
For in this realm of bittersweet bliss,
I am happy and free.

Till the dawn breaks, and reality calls,
And I wake to face these lonely walls,
But until then, in this world of dreams,
I'll hold you close, and feel the warmth.
