Cat in the Snow
I was passing through a snowstorm,
When I heard a whimper,
I was not sure that it was someone,
As it might be the wind's whisper.
But I still decided to follow the sound,
As the wind blew extreme,
Still, I didn't lose my strength,
Which the wind was trying to impede.
When I came closer to the sound,
I saw a little shimmer,
I came across a white light,
Which was shiny as glitter.
I narrowed my eyes,
As I walked through the snow's flurry,
And what I saw next,
Was a white cat's glory.
The wind gently blew on my face,
As I stared at the cat's beauty,
I never had seen such a cat,
Whose fur was sheer milky.
Her tail was soft as velvet,
And ears as pink as flamingos,
She stared into my eyes,
With her eyes blue as frozen shadows.
