FROM THE LAST PEW
The closer I get, the clearer I see my sins before me
I know I'm not worthy, and it's been a while that You saw me
Trying to run this rat race that I call my life
If I don't make the cut, I might as well pull a knife
And severe myself from all my iniquities
Throw bad habits away, that could bring insecurities
I know you see me, Lord, even in my darkest hour
Teach me to accept conditions that are beyond my power
Raise my hopes up, so that I have a broad view
Forsake me not, even when I call from the last pew
