THAT'S WHEN
I used to wander the world with solitude,
Building walls, isolate myself as long as I could.
That's when I felt tranquility and serenity,
Spent my days freely and peacefully.

I got bored and decided to venture the world,
Become a social butterfly and explored every void.
That's when I felt a little change in my perspective,
I break down my walls, become reckless and less protective.

I let the strangers venture into my world with open arms,
Clueless that they might brought downfall and harm.
That's when I felt unsafe, vulnerable, naive and weak,
And could no longer discern who's real and fake.

They took advantage of my kindness and weakness,
Making me terrified as I stumbled upon my knees.
That's when I felt defeated, cheated and betrayed,
Watching my whole world turned upside down as I bleed.
