Thoughts provoke words
Words produce actions
Actions initiate habits
Habits mold your character
Character designs your Destiny
The magic you seek
Is in the work you are avoiding
Stop regretting the past
And wishing for the things you can't have
Lessons learned collect real fast
Experience is a thing of the future
It's not meant to stay in your past
Spend your time wisely
Make it last
Cuz Life is fragile much like brittle glass
So be careful for what you ask
Not everything that glitters is gold
I beg you to remember that
The grass ain't always greener
on the other side, imagine that
You must appreciate what you got
Be grateful to be alive, believe that
I've seen so much through these eyes
Be it no surprise
I embrace my family ties
I am grateful for all that GoD provides
Though not every prayer is answered
I am still so thankful for what's in my life
My thoughts become words
as they come to light
Those words then take flight
There in lies the actions of which I write
As they soar to new heights
Line after line after line
Writing has become a habit of mine
By design
My habits have changed me
My character has changed my mind
I can look in the mirror now
And it all feels just fine
As I wonder what I was made for
Aging in years like fine wine
The truth is none of that matters
As long as we are empathetic and kind
To one another as we experience this life
We must always put GOD 1st
And Whatever happens, happens
Whatever will be..will be
It's all just a matter of time, inevitably
So spend it wisely
Pick your circle carefully
Fill it with LooVed ones and family
That's just how I see it
As these thoughts unwind finally
