I've long been digging the hole, the depth is good enough
I made sure there was no root strong enough to keep me from reaching the pit's bottom...
Poured in the sharpest of gravel and thorns, stood at the edge and waited for the final push.
I made sure the landing would be painful
I made sure all the hope I had was sucked out of me
There won't be peace and silence will be a memory
Deep down I want a savior but none will be coming.
