I had to sit with myself, and really look within,
Had to dissect some hard truths, had to learn to forgive,
Myself of thoughts, feelings and actions when I didn't know better,
Got to accept that I will mess up,sometimes I'm my own disaster,
See expectations are a funny thing, it gives you false hope,
So you ignore certain red flags and overdo to cope,
Be patient with me life, I'm still trying to figure shit out,
Had no one to teach me things and so I get lost in doubts,
