Father, the one standing by you all the time
Won't deceit you, regardless of whatever the clock chimes
Solacing you in distress, hailing you in prime
He'll gulp all the hardships, professing to be fine

Not just the one whom you can count upon,
Rather the one, who won't turn his back until you're gone
He's the complement to your life, not just an add-on
Won't discriminate anyway, whether daughter or a son

You can't delineate him, in a mere string of words
A persona so humble, please don't scorn him because of a few nerds.
