I cry for the things I never got to have
I cry for the things that were never there.
I cry for the things whose ghost haunts me.
I cry for love
I cry for my desires.
I cry for the lack that I experienced.
I just cry for all the people that I've met.
I cry for all the people that I'll never meet.
I hope these tears wash away the pain and suffering.
I wish they clean my soul.
I wish these floodgates nourish the land of my heart.. the land that was barren for as long as I can remember.
I can only wish.
I can only cry.
I can only hope
I'm just crying of all the coulda, woulda, shoulda
I cry for a reality that didn't exist
I cry for healing my heart, soul and body
I cry for that fantasy that never came true.
