Switch off
When the sun goes down
Like the switch turned off,
switching from sunshine to the emo
, I drag my feet on the floor,
roam anywhere within the walls,
snuggle to the quilt given
From the last homecoming.
Inhale the scent filling my lung,
Melting to the mattress to fall asleep
In an hour worth wrestle
With snuggly quilt and marshmallow pillows.
Give up on what I want as the sun went down,
Counting the ticks from the clock,
Scanning the ceiling in the dark
For some time to pass,
For the sun to rise
So I can switch back
and have my does of coffee.
