Permanent Mark
This is not exactly a poem, this is a song that I wrote about a guy who gives all these signs but in the end it just becomes and ilusion and a mark that won't go. I hope you like it!

Your hands left permanent mark
Something like a butterfly I've seen before
It wasn't pretty like before,
But something dark
And by morning you left with some shattered pieces of my heart

How much I loved you
How could you never know
Why would you walk through
The door when you knew
it was so damn true

Your hands on my waist
You got me lost in the dark maze
I can't think straight, remove your hands from my waist
My legs shake,
Now I'm running from you
I wish I had known you

I didn't know love could turn so dark
That'd it'd shatter me and my heart

And oh I can't believe
How much I loved you
How could you never know
Why would you walk through
The door when you knew
it was so damn true

And I can't see your face again
I can't stop thinking how you ruined me
And left me that way
I think you knew from the start
I'd be easy to break

Now I'm picking up my heart
Wishing I had known from the start
But I still can't believe
How much I loved you
How could you never know
Why would you walk through
The door when you knew
it was so damn true
