It's Night.
#WritcoPoemPrompt37
In the quietest part of the night,
When you hover between dark and light,

Wondering if you can float away on dreams,
Hoping they won't turn into screams...

Left in space,
As I watch the wall and ceiling with a covered face.

Shadows sit and shadows stand
As my neighbors arrive late in their cars.

The wind howls and the curtains dance
As the night passes with a slow glance.

Noturnal birds disappear at the closest sight.
Deep in the quiet of the night.

The calm is deafening and the quiet is loud.
You can hear a fallen needle's sound.

The moon just sits as the cloud hovers about
She gets bored of their constant close account.

As I lay down and reminisce about how I spent my day.
Memories of my laugh and shouts fades as I sit up to pray.

Tomorrow will be better, tomorrow will be real.
Better days may come later but now I stick to my appeal.
