Lost in the City's Labyrinth.

I get lost wandering around unknown streets.
Wide and enormous in the centre of a city.
skyscrapers, a tangle of lights,
A maze of dreams on never-ending evenings.
footsteps' echoes, air whispers,
No one to spare, lost in the frenzy.
Alleys entice with hidden mysteries, and tales await discovery around every bend.
Signs are hazy, maps are useless,
I am but stir in this forest of cities.
Faces fly by in a rainbow of colours,
And, yet I remain lost and bewildered in this crowd.
But amidst the confusion, a spark ignites,
a spirit of adventure and discovered pleasures.
For in this maze of concrete and steel,
I'll find my path, I'll make it real.
With each wrong turn, a lesson learned,
In the dance of chaos, wisdom acquired. For being lost here in this new city of wonders is only a passing phase.
