Longing is Tracing
There are things you used to stick your nose into that it seemed you couldn't reach your 20s without. But now, you no longer find yourself living with them. It's quite challenging, I know. I suppose you once had a dilemma of choosing between what your heart wants and what your brain schemes. You were only young enough to have chosen the former at first, but you realized it was stupid, so you jumped to the latter. Maybe it shattered you, even turning your heart untouchable. You no longer do the same things as you used to, no matter how much you long for them. You just let them be missed because you think some things are supposed to be missed, not lived anymore. Maybe longing isn't always wanting what's lost; it's tracing how you've gone this far.
