My dad, my hero, my guiding light,
A man of strength, of courage, of might.
With a heart so big, and a soul so pure,
He was a shining example, of all that's good and sure.

He taught me to be brave, to stand up tall,
To never give up, to never fall.
He showed me love, in all its forms,
And taught me to weather life's storms.

But now he's gone, and my heart is heavy,
The pain so deep, it's hard to be steady.
I miss his voice, his touch, his smile,
And wish I could be with him, even for a while.

But I know he's watching over me,
A guardian angel, forever free.
And though he's gone, his love remains,
A light that forever sustains.

So here's to my dad, a man so dear,
Whose memory I'll always hold near.
May he rest in peace, in a place so bright,
And know that he's loved, both day and night.
