Clown
I'm trained,
In how much pain a child can tolerate.
Into believing lies,
and breaking my dreams
The world around me didn't see nothing,
Because my master took me aside.
Throughout long days and chilly nights alone
I got a pale face
I'm trained
In how much a child can tolerate
Into believing lies and breaking my dreams.
By forgetting my I
I have dark stripes
On the edge of my vision
My master has now made
A liar out of me
I'm trained
in how much pain a child can tolerate.
Into believing lies and breaking my dreams.
I can tell the best stories
Those were my dreams
I can tell moving stories
Which once was my hope
I can tell sad stories
Now is my grief
But instead
I put my red nose and paint my lips red.
Now the world knows me
I'm a clown.
And I do well!
In how much pain a child can tolerate.
Into believing lies,
and breaking my dreams
The world around me didn't see nothing,
Because my master took me aside.
Throughout long days and chilly nights alone
I got a pale face
I'm trained
In how much a child can tolerate
Into believing lies and breaking my dreams.
By forgetting my I
I have dark stripes
On the edge of my vision
My master has now made
A liar out of me
I'm trained

Into believing lies and breaking my dreams.

I can tell moving stories
Which once was my hope
I can tell sad stories

I put my red nose and paint my lips red.
Now the world knows me
I'm a clown.
And I do well!
