I can only view the world from the darkness that clouds my eyes
And with these dark eyes I see the pure intents in the heart of mankind
It's evil.
Their eyes only glisten at the fear of the weak, their tongues long for innocent blood.
There is a vast pit in their hearts that only care for the salt in tears and sweat
Sweat from horrid nightmares and the tears that cover up the smiles that humanity once had.
They have masks on, not like the ones you see in theaters, or in full moon parties.
These masks are taped to their faces with blood, their mouths speak vomit.
Their fingers are the kind to crawl under your skin or play with your fallen hair when you're not looking.
Their toes grow out like roots of only the most poisonous plants.
It grips the heart of a man and turns him cold as stone even on the loveliest of days.
Sharp teeth they have only cling to the hope of slitting throats and sucking life.
They are not predators that go after the foetus of the living, neither do they eat the rotten flesh of the dead.
They are the kind to hang on the shoulders of children and stab recovering patients after they're discharged.
They are the kind to pretend as the tooth fairy and bring the eggs each Easter morning.
They take you to the beach on your birthday and dress you up on your wedding day.
They buy you flowers, claim to be friends and take you out even at their own expenses.
These people do your groceries for you, play the guitar,make you smile with the smallest of their deeds.
They give you pleasure till you pass out, kiss you till your brain melts and make you long for them the more.
And like a snake they bite you on your worst days in the woods, like a bear they stall.
Till your skin is ripped from every attachment to your weak bones.
With their identity hidden, you'll search for them to avenge your lost soul.
Don't let it surprise you that they'll help you search, even stay with you all the way.
And they'll show their true colors when you learn that your accomplice was indeed a fiend.
A human.
