Through my life's
         journey 
    great moments 
    I've had plenty
   
   The times of 
     betrayal,
  there were just
      as many

    Was my life
   a punishment,
      for all of
    my blunders.

       Perhaps a
   life time supply
     of bad luck,
     I wondered

    I concluded that
     this reasoning
       just didn't
           fit
               
     Good or bad
          luck
    had nothing to
       do with it.
         
    I was told that
  I was truly blessed.
    If only they knew
   that my life was
     a mess
   
      So many times
  on disasterous nights,
   how I had
walked away
   without paying a
           price

    But somewhere
         in time
     I did a serious
          wrong
    To be given a  
        sentence
     to last all life
           long
       
   Alas, I now know
  that I must endure
this painful
  punishment
    that I was
bestowed
      
    For if my life's
      errors 
    were caused by
        bad luck,
         I'd be  
    reincarnated
     as me again      
      and again
    I'd be fucked
