A merry soul
Every soul that passes the gate,
Has passed a test of fate,
Trudging along on tired feet,
Almost there, refusing to be beat.
That's what the gatekeeper
Had so far seen and heard
When along came this one
Unique and absolutely fun!
"How come?" he wondered.
But to joy he surrendered...
He realised this soul came merrily
'Cause it shared all fully!
"We get what we sow", it knew
And so from it goodness flew.
Now it had no regrets or pain
And was ready for it all, once again!!
The gatekeeper wept tears of joy
Knowing that a girl or boy
Could live such a life and scatter
Love, peace, joy and laughter!
"This is what the world needs
Such bright and happy seeds
Of life to show the path to all
For living a life, big or small"
