Things are different now … I don’t know what to do about it.
I want ( me ) to mean something … instead of just being mean.
( I’m nothing good / I’m gutless / I’m gone / I’m riding away on
Old Goliath. )

I feel different … I can’t make anything out of it … I’m a man
of change, so I get through it … Do dragonfly nymphs / fattening
caterpillars / families of tadpoles feel their change? Does it scare them too?
Do they not feel fear, or do they do it anyways? … I want to be like that—

I want to do it scared.

I’m trying to be real. I’m trying to have wants without needing my friends
to want to hear them. I’m already a man— I’m trying to be mine.

I’m trying to be better.
