I envy the people that are part of the history,
They probably saw the night sky so starry.
I would envy the people from future generations,
They'd discover more secrets from these creations.
I look at skies today and see plain dark sight,
The stars were outshined by the shimmer of light.
I'd search secrets of the universe and find no answer,
All are theories that just confuse one another.
Maybe I was part of the past I wished I had travelled,
I saw stars glittering as my eyes sparkled.
Maybe I'd be a part of the future I imagined,
Where the truths of the universe are finally revealed.
Oh for all these fantasies to become a truth,
I locked myself into delusions, thinking I'm a sleuth.
I'm an ungrateful loser who can't accept living in this timeline,
I seek what I don't have, what is there to whine?
A part of me still wishes I have lived those lives,
I'd like to be reborned when my time arrives.
I'd like to believe that my feelings are true,
As the universe talks to me in a form of deja vu.
