Macrology of Life
#WritcoPoemPrompt41
Write a poem including as many of the following words (or variations on these words) as you like:
solecisms, connectome, recidivous, calico, performs.

In the vinery of rashness I stare
Motionless and numb
Delightful and dumb from what's become
My own nonplusness in quizzicalaties.
Offers a look of my doonybrook I'm stuck in.
I yen for the vim of your vibrant display.
A calico sky, painted with hues,
Where solecisms fade, and the heart finds its muse.

In the depths of our minds, a connectome unfolds,
Mapping the pathways where our stories are told.
With a zaftig embrace, we perform our sweet dance,
Corybantic rhythms, lost in a trance.

Through xeric landscapes, where the sun fiercely beams,
We navigate life, chasing whimsical dreams.
Yet amidst the poppycock, the chatter and noise,
We find in each other a comely poise.

With nettlesome thoughts that may prick at the soul,
We zhuzh up our spirits, making each moment whole.
Though recidivous doubts may linger and sway,
We rise like the dawn, casting shadows away.

In the macrology of life, we sift through the vast,
Finding leptosome truths in the echoes of the past.
So let us connect, in this tapestry spun,
For together we flourish, two hearts beating as one.
