Boy Alone
This is a story of a boy who sits alone in his room
Thinking of a strategy alone in the gloom
With watery eyes he looks up at the moon
He knows there's something missing
A young mind confused with what he's feeling
Rambling, trying to give this feeling a meaning
He thinks people don't care, he's a cynic
No one dares to touch him, he's really choleric
So he's looking for who to pick a fight with, acting naughty
Trying to make others feel bad, so he's now a bully
So dark inside, but outside he pretends to be holy
It's a pity, but he doesn't want to hear the word "sorry"
Dad left mum, mum left him at the orphanage
As a little baby, growing up he never had any privilege
He's inquisitive, always trying to acquire more knowledge
They pestered him, so he ran out of the orphanage
Not long after, he's been brought to a foster home
His foster parents tried, all he want is to be left alone
People say, there's no place like home
But he still hasn't found a place to call his home
He still thinks he's all alone
He shows people he's okay, while he knows he's hurt
Like a cup that's clean outside, but the inside's full of dirt
Why am I alive, he blurt
So emotional, but he acts tough
And right he's already had enough
And life has been a little bit rough
I wrote this down to send you my love
I know you've been shoved
I wish I could stretch my hand and touch you
I wish I could be the one you could talk to
I wish I could be there when problem arises
Help you when life rolls dices
You're a genius
When things get serious
Calm down, don't be furious
So you won't do things you'll regret
There are options, figure the good one to select
And please make sure you don't forget
Open up and seek help with honesty
When people don't care, you've got a father that's heavenly
Come to Jesus, so he'll teach you
I believe in you and Jesus believes in you too
I can't see you, but he can see you
When people malign you, don't let it budge you
As long as you're alive, there's a purpose
This is a story of a boy who sits alone in his room
Thinking of a strategy all alone in the gloom
With watery eyes, he looks up at the moon
He knows his life is not doomed
He found hope and he prayed
He closed his eyes and he said
Everything's going to be alright
