Within lifes's intricate masquerade
Interwoven in this tapestry of 2023

These bittersweet moments
Of meeting you and losing you
A smile that I can never forget
Under that pretty star-veiled sky

In between these ups and downs
In between these endings and beginnings
You'll always be my muse darling
And I'll always be the poet that loved you endlessly

As I pen verses that never say goodbye to us;
Even in these rain-kissed moments
Every drop signed by your precious eyes
I'll be there to hold them.
