Because I Am An Adult Now
Time passed out & it flew away,
Like these kids i want to play,
Playing with see saw slide for full day,
Making little cups & pots of sandy clay.
Playing outside even in rainy day,
Hide & seek & red rover for 5 rupee pay
Even if one loses they will smile & repay
Happy life and all okay.
But now i am an adult what should i say
It does not suit me better is to go away
A small kid inside me wants to stay
He does not want to remain in dark and there decay.
Lord please make me that kid u have many ways,
I will borrow your time but i promise to repay,
Sitting and recalling the memories everyday,
This pain is not letting me stay.
