Journeying Through Life

I see myself,
The way I see them,
Souls carrying their stories along their journey,
Into life,
That we all share.
We meet along the way,
Remembering and forgetting each other,
Feeling what has been felt between each other,
Feeling the pain from others and within ourselves,
Seeing each other depart,
The time casting it's way,
Through the scars we heal,
Searching for connection,
Waiting for connection,
Longing for something,
Changing along the way,
Walking through life,
A traveler with ever-changing destinations,
The world blurring past them,
Heading somewhere to a path that they would fall into,
A dark hole,
With a ladder across,
On the other side.
