The Fool ...
In the still of the night, he watches her shine,
A love that's unspoken, a pain that's divine.
She sees him as a friend, nothing more,
Yet in his heart, her image he adores.

His eyes follow her as she dances with joy,
In the arms of another, her laughter a decoy.
The ache in his chest, a bittersweet sting,
For her happiness, he would give anything.

He writes her letters she'll never read,
Whispers his love in the wind, a silent creed.
He watches from afar, his heart in a bind,
A man who loves a woman, but she remains blind.

And though it hurts to see her with another man,
He knows that her happiness is all part of the plan.
For in her smile, he finds his own peace,
A love unrequited, yet it will never cease.
