Naivety is but instinctive,
given unto us without our consent.
Drag not your ladened heart any
further into the abyss,
instead conceal the vulnerability,
these others mustn't notice.
Time befriends none
and sooner or later history
will repeat itself,
I honestly can't re-live the agony,
this already cracked thing that beats
inside my chest would burst!
Learning to live without you,
in this little time left is
the only guarantee to live,
pray tell me a customary style of
death awaits then.
