Life had no meaning for you until someone came along and brought out colors into your life. Write a poem on it.

I wished someone had told me that life was so unkind
Because the pages of this life keep turning like a roller coaster ride
With each step life keeps trying to knock me off my toes
Taking me up and down like a merry go round
I've been going through the motions
While I watched time passed me by,
With nightmares haunting my days while visions blurred my nights
As I sleep-walk my way through a pitiful little life
Before you came along and completely blew my mind
You looked at me, and that's all it took
And it didn't take long for you to read me like an open book
You exposed my light and my dark, in the face of ignorance and resistance
Then all at once I was spoiled with inspirations
Your eyes showed me a new place to start
Your smile decorated my life, painting your love all over my heart
Your spirit gave my life many colours of kindness
It was then I found the true bliss of happiness
Your are my sunshine on a cloudy day
With your voice I found comfort in so many ways
In your arms I found shelter from the rain and a place to bury all my fears
You changed my life, given me reasons to try
Even when I'm tempted to give up, break down and cry
You're always there to dry the tears from my eyes
Surrounding me like sunshine, I'm warm in your light
And although memories may come and go like a dream lost in the night
Passing under the dim doorway, slowly out of sight
The stains spreading on my heart are precious memories of you
You filled up my empty space with a love that's so true
You're the faith in me no matter the distance
I'm forever grateful for your existence
Because you colour my life with everything you do
And this open road always lead me back to you!!
