i'm a boring person,
i look at the moon,
sit at the shore,
stare at the last leaf of the tree,
open my favourite novel for the 11th time
and sip my coffee,
when i miss you.
i'm a boring person,
i call my mom at the end of the day to
tell her about my day and ask about her's,
gossip about the family drama,
give her movie suggestions
and divert my mind
from wondering how you are.
i'm a boring person,
i write letters to you
i write poetry for you
i write songs about you
but;
i never send them to you.
how funny and ironic is it?
i'm boring, goofy and weird
but you loved me and left me
for the same reason!
