Title: Our African Culture

l was born an African
All my roots are found in my African continent
These same roots gave birth to my culture
At the same time, l am rooted in my creator
Our Africa, a continent of diverse cultures

Me and my fellow brothers and sisters
We were raised up on the same customs
Of a true African with the ubuntu spirit
We live for each other as Africans
Our African culture gives me a special identity that makes me unique

Our African culture
Which its ideologies won't falter
It is deeply ingrained in us
In a way that we can't shake it off
It's who we are
And what makes us
Thee proud Africans
Sons and daughters of the soil

We are proud as peacocks over our heritage
Which is crystal clear for all to see in every age
Our African culture demands we present an united force
It asks of us not to go off course
But to remain resilient of course
Bearing in mind that we are one people
Don't they say an apple doesn't fall far from the tree
Alas, we are one nation represented by one big family tree
