Love As Your Crown

How can I describe
all the feelings I have inside
when I write a poem for you

My heart begins to cry
maybe laugh or give a sigh
as your vision comes into view

It is like you are right there
And you’re sitting in a chair
Telling me the words you need to hear

I know your ups and downs
I know how life turned you around
As you whisper your words in my ear

I feel your want, I feel your need
I see you bleed; I hear your plead
And I can not help but to write it down

I ask for words to write to you
Not a cliché but something true
In love for you, I begin to drown
And then I begin to write it down

Peace comes to me, that’s what I’ve found
I humbly bow down to the ground
And I present to you love, as your crown
