They called me a lonesome cat
They called me a lonesome cat
I sat each day glancing outside the window.
My lamentable eyes looked at the rich blue sky.
The chirping birds flying high, flying high.
My heart sank and my lungs welled up in sadness
Wondered would I ever be free from all this madness
Reflecting at my former self my skin tingled
How beautiful was I, Small fuzzy creature.
Agile and wild, with joy in her very blue eyes.
My playful nature and how family friendly was I.
Captured the hearts of people whom now I look at and sigh.
They abandoned me in this small room.
Tell me for a fuzzy fellow how agonizing it is.
Lost soul am I!? Lost soul for I am trapped inside this wicked house.
Not anyone to play with not even a mere mouse.
Dolorous, Distressed, and forlorn you can call it.
Please take me away or else I will get a mental fit.
For people they see me call me a lonesome cat.
Because everyday I sit and wonder when will I depart?
