i find it so soothing being on the road
and it rained today
so the grey skies are matching my mood
even the cold is embracing me softly
i find it quite peaceful watching the trees being left behind
the stillness of going to a familiar place
and being waited on can be so endearing
maybe it's not the road itself
it's my restless nature finally being able to sit still while wandering away
