Smoke is taking over
the last little room
I have left
I think about the fireplace
and the place I used to rest
I wonder 'where did I go
and just what's left
of me
as the shadows flicker
through a tiny window
pain is all I see

I lay my head down now
is what I would like to say
because when I do
is when they want to play
I can't get anywhere
doesn't matter if I try
so I took a walk
without thinking
and wound up lost
somwhere in the sky

Don't worry about me
I'll eventually be alright
I'm up here where
I'm meant to be
where shadows flicker
through a tiny window

When your sitting there
I'm blind and in a hurry
I wish I could take it back
this time won't be so blurry
your innocents
your need me eyes
my back breaking
poisonous lies

Where's the love now
I can't heal your whys
there's not one thing
I can confess to now
alone I soar
through the skies.
