Regrets and photographs,
Empty pockets and lockets,

I threw out the photos
the memories
the regrets

I flooded pages with words about you
I told you my thoughts and my dreams

but you lied
and I wish I didn’t believe you

you lied
and I didn’t know you
not then not after

I try to throw out
the regrets I carry
the regrets you gave me
