No ending
#WritcoPoemPrompt11
The days were unending as were the nights,
She waited and waited and waited,
But there seemed no hope in sight…
her phone rang,
but didn't pester to pick up.
It rang. And rang. And rang.
Until she snatched up the phone and put it close to her ear.
Whispers. Movement. Noises.
Seems to be through Marla's ear,
as she heard:

"Marla..... Come..... Help....... Branwen...... Hurry."
The phone line went dead,
as her heart seem to beat fast.
A loud knock clattered through the door,
it startled Marla,
as she slowly open the door and saw Branwen looking at her with a grin spreading through her face.
"Branwen... I - I thought you were hurt.
Henrik called and said that something happened to you."
"No, nothing happened, I just scraped my knee. It's nothing serious."
"But-"
"He's not dead."
The phone rang and,
as Marla went over
grabbed the phone and put it close to her ear.
" MARLA!! Where are you? Branwen's hurt and she's dying." Henrik said.
"Henrik...... what the hell is going on?"
"Oh no, Marla, he's here. Come. Hurry. AHHHHH!!!!" Henrik screamed as the phone line was cut short.
Marla turned around and saw a copy of Branwen as she grinned.
Copy Branwen rushed to Marla
and smelled her hair.
"Marla, my dear, he'll be so good to see you."
"No, he's dead."
"That was only the beginning. He has now returned."
They thought they beat him.
The more vulnerable they get, the sharper he comes to be.
The never-ending chapter of what was the beginning.
Of a no-ending day.
He has returned.
And he brought more with him.
