Apologetic hearts & blue-grey skies,
found many horrors in the day's bright light.
Red melancholic eyes & white sunshine,
soothed the long summer nights.

Unhappy smiles & foggy days,
hid well that phony face masked, behind.
Voiceless voices & scenting thyme,
quieted the talking tide of a vigorous mind.

Freezing tears & frosty breeze,
froze the heat of soaring, achy agony.
Sealed lips & heavy words,
found a singing bird humming, a sweet symphony.

Cold feet & soft earth,
sunk the sweet joy out, of pious men.
Trembling fingers & bleeding pen,
penned many poetries, as they inked again.
