A poem is like a piece of patchwork,
where various pieces of fabric in assorted colours & designs
are fragments of my thoughts,
My pen is the needle,
I'm the seamstress.
I gather the pieces of fabric
& sew them together,
forming
a sequence of
patterns (poetic lines),
to create
a beautiful piece of
patchwork (poem).
