a brave man next to his grave

and sing his tale to generations
a dying man on his deathbed
was startled to discern gods don't listen
but only when it matches their holy plans
he wished he had listen to himself
when the evil man and the good man
knew that it's the dark that makes light shines
they sat down like old friends and dine
so, adulterous and murderers build temples
holy redencials for god and his angels
and good men build hate and pain in others
life is not fair but balanced enough
for each of us to make a contribution
to enjoy the experience of the either side
