Our first meeting wasn't planned
It came straight out of the blue
Just like so many other good moments
Unexpected it was, to experience this

First it was just two pair of eyes meeting
A quick smile when passing each other
But just that was what startet it all
I could not get that smile out of my head

When we talked to each other
It was only in short sentences
One look meant more than many words
Both of us knew that right from the start

Time went by; realising one thing
Look isn't everything; talk is too
Slowly we started to talk to each other
Small talk in the beginning

Later on our conversations grew
As we got to to know each other better
Our talks become something bigger
Like we could talk about everything

But how long were Adam in paradise?
I don't know exactly how and why
Not suddenly, but gradually it changed
Things got more difficult to talk about

No longer any smiles exchanged
Less and less talk between us
I really didn't know what was happening
The good vibes once there were gone

But no one can take away the feelings
The sun was shining on both of us
Then it went all dark
(And of course it started to rain)
