CoverGirls Don't Cry
"You're so pretty!" They say.
& I crack a smile,
Not knowing before I done my makeup,
I cried for awhile.
"You're so skinny, I'm Jealous"
Yet if they only knew,
I've been starving myself,
and I'm awake on day 2.
"Your hairs so long."
Yeah, I know.
It took 2weeks for me to take it out the bow.
So many followers, yet I feel so alone.
So many hey girls in the street,
But noone at home.
I fake a smile so others can't see,
all the pain I have dwelling on the inside of me.
I check my mascara ,
so when they look in my eyes ,
they can't see the pain
that I'm trying so hard to hide.
Covering my face with foundation.
So I can cover up the lies.
Reminding myself that cover girls don't cry.
