Patience, Please?
Patience is a virtue,
it comes when you get no choice,
It makes you go through
many lows, while you await the high.
Patience brings rewards,
but after time has broken you enough.
It dampens the joy of victory,
you get used to days that are tough.
It kills you from within,
you reach the point where you implode,
the wait is the pain in itself,
you give up looking for the higher road.
You want to let hope go,
but its resilience makes it return,
it doesn't rely on your fragile tolerance,
it finds a way back and makes your desire burn.
So we come back where we begun,
patience is exactly what you need,
because giving up is not easy as they say,
waiting for the dawn always is how hope breeds.
