INTO THE WOODS (L.R.)
Author's Note to Readers: Go check out @Hilltop 's "Into the Woods" poem she wrote, it is a very beautiful one. :)
The crunch of leaves under my feet,
beautiful reds, oranges, yellows, browns,
floating down from overhead trees.
The view of clustering asters,
their many soothing colors,
calming the mind, body, and spirit.
The melody of nearby songbirds,
a refreshing sound away from city business,
pulling me into a pleasant dream.
The nectar of viney honeysuckles,
with an almost neverending sweetness,
making my mouth water for more.
The breath of the strong wind,
such an untainted breath of fresh air,
filling my lungs to their fullest.
The peaceful walk into the woods,
remembering the glorious nature here,
praising God for His breathtaking creations.
Into The Woods- An escape from the busy lives we all live.
